Duties: They use an aspirator/vacuum hose to spin, draw and texturize yarn. The molten polymer comes down three levels of machining to become solidified. The employee will re-string yarn breaks. Machine constantly fills "bobbins" with yarn and then opens up to a hydraulic lift that has two "bobbins" on it. The employee will then insert a label on the inside drum and lift two "bobbins" at a time and stack them on pallets. Lifting 12-15 lbs. Very repetitive work. It s possible to incur soreness in forearms and back on the first few days, but then employees adjust.

Requirements: Acceptable candidates need to be timely, pay attention and follow instructions, show energy and aptitude for learning, willing to stand on feet at least 8-10 hours during a shift, wear steel-toed shoes, not afraid to pick up a mop or sweep up the floor or handle garbage duties. High school diploma or GED. Must meet 82" reach requirement.

**Must have at least 6 months of industrial experience preferably Machine Operator experience**

Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts; 3 days on/3 days off; 4 days on/4 days off and then 7 straight days off. Rotate days and nights. 35 minute lunch with three 15-minute breaks.

Hourly Pay: $13.00 per hour to start. Possible pay increase available when hired by GPS client company.

If hired by GPS client company, available benefits include a 401K (50 cents match up to 6%), Paid Holidays, ST, Life, PTO of 40 hours in the first year and 80 hours after the first year. Typically, an employee will be off 14 days a month.
