Scope of Position:

Ability to operate a variety of heavy earth moving equipment (i.e. bulldozers, trackhoes, motorgraders, pans, loaders, off road trucks, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Mindful of the required safety operations and functions of each machine
  • Skilled in road and site construction Projects
  • Capable of operating and working around the traveling public
  • Understanding of production goals and project schedule requirements
  • Knowledge of equipment cleaning, maintenance and storage procedures
  • Able to work independently
  • Willingness to communicate with team members on Project needs
  • General Project housekeeping and manual labor will be required as directed by Supervisor
  • Operate company owned and leased machinery
  • Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports
  • Provide outstanding customer service during operations on both public and private worksites
  • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
  • Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience as an operator
  • Overtime and weekend work will be required as necessary
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
  • Driver’s license and clean three (3) year Motor Vehicle Record
