POSITION SUMMARY:

             This position will be highly organized and make sales calls on customers at their place of business based on a defined schedule. Identifies needs at each customer and presents quotes that both fill those needs and provides a value. Tracks those quotes and follows up with customers to secure the business. Works in harmony with all departments in an effort to make the dealership a one stop shop for the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travels to the customers place of business, on a set schedule, and performs needs analysis
  • Presents solutions-based quotes to each assigned account that offers value
  • Ensures each customer is quoted at least one primary product line monthly
  • Sells the value of the dealership – Warranty, Installation, Delivery, Insured and trained personnel, etc.
  • Asks for the business on every sales call
  • Prospects for new customers
  • Completes Call report as requested
  • Updates management when changes occur with any customer
  • Maintains professional appearance and follows all safety rules
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prefer one year previous experience in a Sales role
